This December, we’re dedicating our JP Faves to supporting those rebuilding their lives after the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. From helping local farmers provide nourishing food, to supporting small businesses and families in Western North Carolina, every contribution counts. Together, we can help fill tables, rebuild communities, and offer hope to those in need.

The Appalachian Rebuild Project coordinates essential volunteer efforts, providing critical support to restore homes and lives across the Blue Ridge communities. Their work is a testament to the strength of neighbors helping neighbors.

Equal Plates Project’s Hurricane Helene Response is focused on preparing 1,000+ daily meals to distribute to those affected by the storm. Your donation helps them purchase ingredients from local farmers, acquire equipment to scale production, and donate thousands of meals over the next 100 days.

The Farm Connection is leading efforts to Support Farmers and Grassroots Food System Organizing in WNC. They ensure local farmers are compensated for the produce they donate to relief efforts, helping sustain their businesses through this crisis. This initiative is not just about feeding people now but rebuilding a resilient food system for the future. Reverence Farms is delivering nourishing, grass-fed beef to families affected by the storm. Donations of $50 or more come with the option of a personalized holiday card.
